Influence by watching Boys Over Flowers (A korean F4 TV series) which my officemates watches everyday until thier last episode on January 2010, we had a topic of what Go Jandi and Junpyo eat thier korean food well, an we like to taste it too… so were searching in if davao has a korean restaurant, since there are more korean influx here studied and lived here in davao.
I tasted korean food once in a restaurant in buhangin, but the restaurant is already closed, theres also a korean restaurant infront of victoria plaza right beside chowking, but this restaurant recommend by one of my officemates serves great korean dishes, according to him it will satisfy our urge of tasting these korean dishes…
The place is Shi Gol San Restaurant in Lanang infront of Grand Regal Hotel Davao… then were going to the place, as we entered the restaurant i feel the korean atmosphere around it, a little bit surprise when we sit in we didn’t see each other apart from each other side of the table… as i think this is the way koreans had thier privacy when eating. Aside from that when we want to order or call the waiter we had to tap the buzzer which located at the side of our table. And how the waiter know if our table are the one who tap the buzz? just like in the bank its already programmed by the computer according to the number of our table. hmmmm interesting…
So we ordered thier specialty forgot the name of it… it was mostly ordered by the some korean people here and whats makes this restaurant great it serves an 8 kinds of korean appetizer for free… The dishes here is cooked by the owner which also a korean chef expertise doesn’t understand english and filipino language tsk tsk tsk…
Just a tip koreans love too much spicy foods when you order just say it to the waiter to less the spice on the food… so you can enjoy thier dishes well…

It’s sunday morning, my sister called and want to celebrate her pre birthday with me… so we gathered around the house and ask me where to eat some seafoods that i haven’t tried yet… One thing came to my mind and the place is Let’s Crab Eat D’CA Crab and Seafood Station along F. Torres St., Davao City right beside Coco’s Restaurant, the restaurant was owned by the one classic Asia Restaurant in chinatown villa abrille street in our city of davao.
The place is great, cozy, had large flat screen TV, the ambiance is good in the corner side of the wall are some pictures of current kapamilya and kapuso stars with thier autographed memorabilia that they has been dined in here. Actually i’m not such an crab eater itself but i eat crabs.. not too much but want to try thier sumptious specialty of this new discovered seafood station in town. So here are our orders to satisfy our gastronomic adventure treats…
Mixed Seafood Soups – Vegetables, Seafoods, Mushrooms, Birdnest, i like this one….
They also have thier own way to cook Spare Ribs yummy to the bones…
The meal isn’t complete without thier crab specialty with sate sauce
we also ordered steam fish lapu lapu with sweet and sour sauce and with some chinese cooked veggies…
Overall just a typical chinese food same as what i’ve eaten in asia restaurant but some of the servings is small and the price is expensive… but the food is okey…
