After we toured Luneta Park, we’ve going to take a walk to intramurous when we crossed at Padre Burgos St., crossing Roxas Boulevard we’ve notice some foreign tourist taking some photographs of the new Monument of Cory Aquino, yes it’s the new tourist attraction here in manila, the Ninoy and Cory Aquino Monument, its near at the Manila Hotel.

The Cory Aquino Monument/Statue was inagurated last January 25, 2010 at the time of her celebrated birthday, it was built in the honor of the former President Corazon C. Aquino who died of cancer last August 1, 2009. It was the idea of Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim a loyal supporter of the Aquino’s. It was historic in which millions of filipino people really love the Ninoy and Cory….
