Abreeza Ayala Mall, a new mall in Davao, where every week has it’s full of surprises since their soft opening, a new store shops and food stalls which finds more interesting and first in davao.. and my foodtrip never stops. I found out a new seafood restaurant at Abreeza Mall right beside next to Hukad, the Blackbeard’s Seafood Island Northshore Grill.
They had branches all over luzon at Market Market, Cubao, Eastwood, UP Ayala Technohub, Trinoma, Greenbelt 3, Alabang Town Center and Abreeza it’s the first in Visayas and Mindanao area.
So upon checking in at restaurant it’s afternoon so the place was not so crowded coz we’re early. The waiter ushered us to the table and handed us the menu, the place was nice, upon browsing the menu, i’ve surprise they serve Boodles, a various amount of seafoods viands with rice prepared on top of a banana leaves. Good for 3-4 and 5-6 persons.
Boodles was based on Military Style of Eating it was called Boodle Fight, where long tables prepared with banana leaves top it off with viands and rice ready to eat using your bare hands, jugs of water are prepared on the side to wash hands before the “eating combat”. With the signal to start the boodle fight, everyone aims for his/her position.
Actually we ordered a boodles, they have the best seller boodles the I Am Ninoy in support of Ninoy and Cory Aquino Foundation, Education and Livelihood Program at 735.00 , since were only three of us, so I ordered the Grand Binalot Boodles at 675.00. We are on a high end mall, we can do a boodle fight not in traditional way but of course with a spoon and fork.
When our orders arrived, the food Grand Binalot Boodles was fair, Actually it’s just like a cooked at home. I think the I Am Ninoy Boodles is good, maybe next time…
